Terms of service and cancellation policy

Luci Care (Luciléia Soares), Limerick, Ireland. Phone +353 83 207 2237, email hello.lucicare@gmail.com. Luci Care is a private childcare service: all bookings are with Lu personally.

Bookings and payment

The full price is shown before you book. You pay Lu directly. Online bookings are paid by bank transfer: your time is reserved when you book, and the booking is confirmed when Lu receives the deposit shown before you book (it is part of the total, not an extra). Telling Lu you have paid does not confirm the booking by itself; Lu confirms it after checking her account. A reservation does not expire automatically; Lu may cancel it if the deposit does not arrive. The rest of the price is paid as agreed with Lu. Other arrangements, such as cash, are agreed with Lu directly. You receive an email at each step. The price you pay is fixed: later price changes never affect a confirmed booking. Up to 3 children can be cared for in one booking. Lu may work with other families on the same day, with time to travel between them.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made at least 4 days (96 hours) before the start of the booking. Bookings cancelled at least 4 days before are refunded in full. Bookings cancelled less than 4 days before are not refunded.

You can cancel from your family area at any time before the booking starts. The app records when you cancelled and applies the policy automatically. If Luci Care has to cancel, you receive a full refund of anything you have paid. Refunds are sent by Lu by bank transfer, and you receive an email when a refund has been sent. If you had not paid yet, nothing is owed.

Safety

In an emergency, Lu contacts the emergency services first and then you or your emergency contact. Lu may decline or end a booking if a child's safety requires it.
