Hi, I’m Lu — a childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children.
I am a qualified QQI Level 6 Special Needs Assistant (SNA) and I am passionate about creating a safe, caring and positive environment where every child feels respected, valued and encouraged to be themselves.
I’m naturally curious and believe that learning never stops. I am always developing my knowledge, completing training and looking for new ways to improve the care and support I provide.
I’m a patient, warm and positive person, and I truly enjoy spending time with children. I love playing games, being outdoors, exploring, getting active and having fun together. I also love playing football, so outdoor activities are definitely something I enjoy sharing with children!
Being the oldest of six siblings has also been an important part of my life. Growing up in a big family taught me patience, responsibility, empathy and how special the bond between children can be.
After more than 10 years of experience, I have learned that every child is different, and that great childcare is about listening, understanding and adapting to each child’s individual personality and needs.
For me, children aren’t simply the people I care for — they are little friends who teach me something new every day.
I bring experience, patience, enthusiasm and a big smile to every day, while continuing to learn and improve the care I provide.

Services
Your price is shown in your family area once you choose the service, date and times, in full and before you confirm. No extra charge for siblings: up to 3 children in one booking.
Babysitting
Occasional and flexible childcare: evenings, weekends, school holidays, date nights or a few hours of help.
Includes: Play, meals or snacks, bath and bedtime, following your family's routines.
Minimum 3 hours.
Book nowRegular Nanny Care
The same days and times each week, booked for up to four weeks at once.
Includes: Meals, naps, play, learning through play, homework, outings and clear communication with you.
Each week is a separate session; cancel any one of them under the same policy.

I stay overnight at your home while your children sleep.
Includes: Bedtime, overnight care and breakfast. One fixed price for the whole agreed night.

Available as part of a booking, depending on location and transport arrangements. Pick-ups may be arranged by walking, public transport, taxi or family-provided transport. Additional transport costs may apply. Add the details in your booking notes.
How it works
- 1Create your family accountAdd your address and your children's routines, meals, allergies and screen-time rules.
- 2Choose a timePick the service, date and times. You see straight away whether the time is free.
- 3See the full priceThe total is shown before you book, with the small deposit that confirms it.
- 4You're bookedSend the deposit by bank transfer and tell Lu. Your time is reserved for you meanwhile, and the booking is confirmed as soon as Lu sees the deposit in her account. You get an email.
Questions families ask
How much does it cost?
Create your family account and choose the service, date and times: you then see your full price, the deposit and what is left to pay on the day, before you confirm anything.
Is my booking confirmed straight away?
Your time is reserved for you as soon as you book. The booking is confirmed when Lu receives your deposit by bank transfer: she checks her account herself, so it can take a little while.
How do I pay?
Online bookings are paid by bank transfer to Lu's account: a deposit to confirm the booking, and the rest on the day of the service, as agreed with Lu. The bank details and your booking reference appear after you book. No card details are asked for on this site.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations must be made at least 4 days (96 hours) before the start of the booking. Bookings cancelled at least 4 days before are refunded in full. Bookings cancelled less than 4 days before are not refunded.
What do you need to know about my children?
Food and allergies, meals, screen-time rules, sleep routine and anything else that helps me care for them well. It takes a few minutes, and you can update it any time.
Do you have references?
Yes. References are available on request.
Who can see my family's information?
Only you and me. Your children's details are never shown publicly and never sent in emails.
