Luci Care (Luciléia Soares, Limerick, hello.lucicare@gmail.com) is responsible for the information you give through this website.
What is collected and why
- Your name, email, phone, address and emergency contact: to arrange, deliver and contact you about bookings.
- Your children's first names, dates of birth and care cards (food, allergies, meals, screen time, sleep, likes): only to care for them safely. Allergy or health details are kept only with your consent, which you give on the care card and can withdraw by editing or deleting it.
- Booking and payment records: to provide the service and keep business records.
If you were already a Luci Care client
Lu may have entered your family's contact details, address, children's names, dates of birth, essential care information and your agreed arrangements herself, from the information you already gave her, so that your account is ready when you are invited. The invitation email contains no details about your children. When you activate your account you choose your own password (Lu never sees it), and you are asked to check each child's care card and give your consent before booking online. You can correct anything at any time.
Who can see it
Only your family's own account holders (the parents or guardians Lu has connected to your family) and Lu. No other family can see your details, your children's details, your prices or your bookings. Lu keeps some private working notes about arrangements, which are visible only to her. Children's details are never shown publicly and never sent by email. No card details are collected. Lu's bank details are shown only to a signed-in family, for their own booking.
Services used to run the website
Supabase (secure database and login, EU region), Resend (emails), Vercel (website hosting). They process data only to provide their service.
How long it is kept
Your family and children's details are kept while you use Luci Care. When you stop using the service, your family is marked inactive and Lu reviews whether the details are still needed (and deletes what isn't). You can edit or delete children's care cards at any time, or ask Lu to delete your account and details. Booking and payment records are kept as long as needed for business records.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello.lucicare@gmail.com. You can also contact the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
